Why cosmetic pigment is different
Cosmetic pigments are made differently from regular tattoo ink, and some, especially skin-toned, white or very light shades, can react unpredictably to a laser. That's why we always start with a test spot and check how your pigment responds before treating the whole area.
Our Cutera Enlighten III pairs picosecond and nanosecond pulses and has three wavelengths that cover a wide range of colours, including the warm reds and oranges that older brows and lips often turn. We tune it to your skin, and it works on all skin tones.
The face is sensitive, so we go at your pace: numbing before, cooling during, and breaks when you need them. For eyeliner, we use special eye protection throughout.

Cosmetic removal FAQ
What cosmetic tattoos can you remove?
We treat microblading and eyebrow tattoos, lip blush and lip liner, permanent eyeliner, scalp micropigmentation (SMP) and permanent freckles.
How much does cosmetic tattoo removal cost?
Cosmetic tattoo removal is quoted at your free consult, once we've seen the area, the pigment and your goals. 0% in-house financing is available.
Why do you always do a test spot?
Cosmetic pigments are made differently from regular tattoo ink, and some, especially skin-toned, white or very light shades, can react unpredictably to a laser. That's why we always start with a test spot and check how your pigment responds before treating the whole area.
How many sessions will I need?
Every pigment is different, so we don't give one-size-fits-all numbers. Pigment type, colour, depth, age and how your body heals all play a part. Book a free consult and we'll give you an honest estimate.
Does it work on all skin tones?
Yes. Every skin is different, so we never treat on autopilot. We tune the laser settings to you and start with a test spot so you know exactly how your skin responds.
Is eyeliner removal safe for my eyes?
Eyeliner sits very close to the eye, so we use special eye protection throughout every eyeliner treatment.
